Merrie Lane Honey offers high quality raw Wildflower honey produced in West Central Ohio by bees from Ohio. Merrie Lane Honey never buys bees and only uses feral bees caught through swarms or split from our own bee colonies.
Merrie Lane Honey also stocks made in Ohio, Amish wood ware. Along with wooden bee hives, Merrie Lane Honey also stocks a wide variety of other beekeeping supplies.

Swarm Recovery
In the early Spring through early Summer it is not uncommon to come across a swarm of honey bees or have one land in a tree or bush outside your house. The first thing you should do is - Not Panic - You are encountering the honey bees natural survival and expansion of their colony. Though it appears on the surface to be mass confusion, in all actuality, the bees are very calm and have nothing to protect so they have no reason to be defensive, What should you do? Contact a local beekeeper right away. Don't wait and hope they will just leave on their own. They may leave but you may not like where they end up.
